Willy van der Meeren wardrobes
A pair of amazing modernist wardrobes/cupboards by Willy van der Meeren, made by Tubax, Belgium in 1952.
Van der Meeren was an architect and one of the most important Belgian furniture designers of the post-war period.
Metal framed cabinets with riveted wooden side panels and beautiful sliding metal coloured doors with original paint. Long sculptural teak handles. On one side of the cabinet are three adjustable shelves, one the other side is a hanging rail.
Aside from being used as a wardrobe they’d also be great storage in a kitchen or living room. In very good original vintage condition.
