Johns exhibited widely through Britain and was a practicing artist until his death in 2013. A major formative influence was the teaching of Ceri Richards at Cardiff College of Art.

The human form was an enduring focus for Johns from his early practice through to later work such as this vibrant painting on board.

Newly framed in white-washed tray frame. Signed and dated.
