Beautiful muted colours and semi-abstraction in this early painting by Johns. Newly framed in a simple whitewashed tray frame with a chamfered edge.
Johns exhibited widely through Britain and was a practicing artist until his death in 2013. A major formative influence was the teaching of Ceri Richards at Cardiff College of Art.
