60 piece set of Pride silver-plated cutlery designed in 1953 by David Mellor and made by Walker and Hall, Sheffield. An elegant design that went on to win one of the first Design Centre Awards in 1957.

Housed in an original beautiful Walker & Hall two drawer canteen.

8 place settings - dinner knives, dinner forks, side knives, side forks, soup spoons, dessert spoons and teaspoons plus 4 large servings spoons.

There is one replacement side knife (Walker & Hall) and a newer replacement dinner knife (David Mellor production). The handles of these are lighter than the other handles. There is some slight variation in colour across some of the other handles. The forks and spoons are all in very good condition. The canteen is in excellent condition.
