A 1930s chest of drawers attributed to Alvar Aalto. Date-stamped 1938 to the rear and a cabinet of the same construction appears in 'The Flat Book' by Sadie Speight and Leslie Martin.

There are two fixing holes to the rear where it looks like a Finmar label would have been but there are no other maker's marks.

Birch veneer with a beautiful golden glow. Three lockable drawers with the original key. In very good condition, some marks to the top and slight seperation to one corner joint.
