1950s coffee table by Nigel Walters
A one-off coffee table designed by Nigel Walters FSIA, circa 1950s made of bent metal rod and a circular glass top that rests on top.
Nigel Walters was a lecturer in Furniture design at the Central School of Arts and Crafts from 1948 and Head of Interior Design and Furniture from 1958. He produced designs for Heals, Primavera and Wrighton and exhibited at the Festival of Britain.
This particular table was previously owned by the Walters family.
Base is in good condition with some wear to the grey paint. The top has some scratches but no chips.
