Plywood child’s chair by Kristian Vedel
A child’s chair and table designed by Kristian Vedel in 1957 for Torben Örskov & Co, Denmark. A versatile design that was awarded the silver medal at the 1957 Milan Triennale and is in the MOMA permanent collection.
Two beech laminated plywood frames with a painted slot-in blue seat, one blue shelf/restraint and a red table top. It can be configured into a variety of forms, such as a high chair, desk, or play station. Equally nice used as an ‘adult’ side table.
In overall good condition with some chips to the painted parts and some marks to the ply finish.
