Robert Welch Alveston cutlery

A canteen of 50 pieces of Alveston cutlery designed in 1961 by Robert Welch and made by Old Hall. This supremely elegant design won a prestigious Design Centre Award in 1965.

A large set for 6 people consisting of dinner knives and forks, side knives and forks, soup spoons, dessert spoons, teaspoons, coffee spoons and two serving spoons. In rare original rosewood and teak canteen with green baize lining

In very good condition. The canteen has been repolished, there is some wear to the green baize in places.
