Merchant Adventurers Decolurme lamp

Special and rare Decolurme lamp designed by Paul Boissevain in 1951 for Merchant Adventurers, UK. This elegant lamp featured at the Festival of Britain 1951 as an example of high quality British design.

Paul Boissevain was a Dutch architect. He worked as a consultant designer to Merchant Adventurers, a British company run by his two older brothers. He designed a number of lights including the award winning Ellipse light and the hugely successful Trimline model.
